Morgan Shaw Parker

President, Chief Operating Officer

As President and Chief Operating Officer of the Dream, Morgan Shaw Parker oversees day-to-day business operations and works closely with ownership to set the vision and direction of the franchise. She manages sponsorships, ticketing, retail, marketing, digital, the in-game experience, human resources, community engagement and analytics.  

Bringing more than 25 years of experience and values-driven leadership at all levels of the sports industry, Shaw Parker joined the Dream in 2021 when the organization welcomed new ownership, a new head coach and a brand vision to become the best place to work and play in all sports.  

Prior to the Dream, Shaw Parker served as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Arthur M. Blank Sports & Entertainment (AMBSE) where she led marketing and communications initiatives for the Atlanta Falcons and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Under her leadership, her team earned nine regional Emmy Awards, 19 regional Emmy nominations, two gold AVA Digital Awards, two Webby Awards and one Hashtag Sports Award.   

Before coming to Atlanta, Shaw Parker spent more than a decade at Nike, where she served as director within the brand’s North America Communications function. In that role, she set the strategic and tactical communications direction for multiple Nike brand categories, including Football (NFL and NCAA) where she led the 2012 media launch for Nike’s NFL partnership. She also held positions leading communications strategy for Men’s Training, Women’s Training, Running, Olympics, Nike Baseball (MLB), and affiliate brand communications.  

Her first foray in professional sports was with the Kansas City Chiefs, where she had roles in public relations, corporate affairs and community relations.  

AdWeek named Shaw Parker as one of its “Most Powerful Women in Sports” in 2019, and Sports Business Journal has recognized her as a “Game Changer” in the sports industry – an award given to women who are making an impact in sports business.   

Shaw Parker sits on the board of the Atlanta Sports Council and plays an active role in schools and community organizations that empower women.   

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.S. of Education in Sport Management from the University of Kansas. She and her husband, Jeffrey Parker, reside in Suwanee, Ga., with their two sons, Lincoln and Grayson.
